Vintage 1980 NYC Transit Strike t shirt. Even though this event happened almost 40 years ago as a New Yorker I still hear about this particular strike from time to time. I always hear stories like “I Had to walk 10 miles to school” or “I was stuck in traffic for 2 hrs each day” Either way this is an original item from that horrible week. Its a single stitch navy blue cotton shirt with yellow lettering.
