Vintage 1989 Die Yuppie Scum t shirt. In the late 80s Downtown Manhattan was starting to become “gentrified” and the locals were not happy about it. Yuppie`s which stand for young urban professional, basically someone that is sort of well off. The old timers used this rallying cry of “Die Yuppie Scum” to show their dissatisfaction of the new comers to the neighborhood. The shirt is an original dated 1989 single stitch.
