Vintage 1998 Starter New York Mets Mike Piazza Name and number t shirt.  In May of `98 the unthinkable happened to Dodger fans.  Mike Piazza, there most popular player by far, was traded to the Marlins.  Then just 6 days later he was on the move again to Queens.  He was officially traded on May 22nd to the Mets and it was a scramble for brands like Starter to produce Piazza Mets items.  They new this was a big sales opportunity.  I dont think Starter even produced this style of t shirt for any one else, if they did I dont remember it.  That maybe why the back lettering didnt hold up.  Either way this one is a hard to find Starter name and number t of Hall of Famer Mike Piazza.
