In 1998 Tim Duncan wore this model on court for the San Antonio Spurs.  Duncan was a Nike Athlete at the time before he left for Adidas.  This pair retailed very high for peoples taste in 1998 and wasnt an instant sell through.  If people thought $170 was high for the Og Penny Foamposite One, they were in for a surprise with the $180 price tag these had with its full length Air and Zoom plate.  This pair is the 05 retro release that was released at select Independent stores across the country.  Pair was tried on and never saw the light of day besides my carpet.
