Every April 15th is a special day in the MLB. it celebrates the day Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier and every player and coach on every team wears number 42. This card was produced for the 50th anniversary of that game in 1997. The reason it has the Mets logo’s is the 50th anniversary celebration was held in Queens since Jackie played for the Brooklyn Dodgers which is a few miles from where the Mets play in Flushing Queens.
